Zoom coming to Miami, along with changes to Webex and Google Meet
An enterprise version of Zoom will be available within the next couple of weeks to all current Miami faculty, staff, and students. There are also changes coming to Miami’s current video conferencing tools - Webex and Google Meet.
Update on Enhanced Learning Spaces
As was mentioned in a previous message to campus, IT Services, along with the Office of the Provost, academic deans, eLearning Miami, and the Academic Directors of Technology, are continuing to work on enhancing many Miami learning spaces to successfully support flexible format instruction during the fall.
Announcing Google Chat
Announcing: IT Services is excited to share that we will be transitioning the default chat option in Gmail to Google Chat.
Temporary Free Adobe Creative Cloud Offer Ends July 6
Adobe will be ending their free offer of Adobe Creative Cloud on Monday, July 6.

Puppet will be upgraded on July 7 at 7 am.

IT Services is once again busy making changes and doing some upgrades to the services you know and love.
Upcoming upgrade: Oracle production environment
Saturday, July 18 at 8 am, we will be upgrading the Oracle production environment clusterware. There will not be a complete outage.
Duo update: "Call Me" option to be turned off
Tuesday, July 14, 2020, IT Services will be removing the "Call Me" option to authenticate in Duo. If you've been using the "Call Me" option, read on.
