Ascend to Your Next Chapter is an early arrival experience designed to help students build confidence, make meaningful connections, and feel prepared for the transition to college. Whether you're the first in your family to attend college, exploring your major options, or simply looking for a strong start, Ascend offers the guidance and community to help you thrive. Through energizing small-group sessions, hands-on workshops, campus resource sessions focused on personal and academic success, and the chance to experience what a real college class feels like, you’ll get a head start on building your confidence, community, and college know-how before the school year begins.

| Eligibility | Ascend it open to all first-year students, and is best suited for students in the Exploratory Studies (undeclared major) program, National Pathways program, GradU8 program, first generation college students, foster/foster-affiliated students, Bridges Scholars, and any student who may want to feel more confident academically before the semester begins. |
