Fraternity and sorority organizations are expected to uphold university policies, community standards, and community values. Miami provides education, support resources, reporting options, and prevention programs designed to help students thrive and make informed decisions.
Hazing is prohibited by Miami University, the State of Ohio, and all recognized fraternity and sorority organizations.
Miami is committed to preventing hazing through education, reporting resources, community accountability, and ongoing prevention efforts. Students are encouraged to report concerns and seek support if they experience or witness hazing behaviors.
Support resources are available for students who experience or witness concerning behavior, policy violations, discrimination, harassment, sexual misconduct, or safety concerns.
