Do I need to sign up beforehand?

No. Mega Fair is designed for students to come and go throughout the event and connect with as many organizations as they would like. No advance registration is required.

Is Mega Fair only for first-year students?

No. Mega Fair is open to all Miami students who are looking for ways to get involved, meet people, and explore new opportunities.

What should I wear?

Mega Fair takes place outdoors at the end of summer. Dress comfortably and wear shoes that are suitable for walking around the event.

Do I need to join organizations on the spot?

No. Organizations will share information about membership, meetings, and how to get involved. You can take time to decide which organizations are the best fit for you.

How many organizations should I talk to?

There is no right number. We encourage you to explore several organizations and focus on finding groups that align with your Big 3.

Can I attend if I'm shy?

Absolutely. Many students attend Mega Fair without knowing anyone. Start by visiting a table that matches one of your interests and strike up a conversation. Student leaders are excited to meet you and answer your questions.

What if I don't know anyone?

That is completely okay. Thousands of students attend Mega Fair each year, many of whom are looking to make new connections. It is a great opportunity to meet people who share your interests.

Yes. Mega Fair is free for all students.

How do I follow up after Mega Fair?

Add your name to organization interest forms, follow organizations on social media, and attend a meeting or event soon after Mega Fair. Getting involved early is one of the best ways to build connections and find your place at Miami.
