Dan Tirpack is an Investment Director at Salt Creek Capital, a Cincinnati-based family office, where he manages the family's investment portfolio, shaping its strategy, sourcing and diligencing new investments, and presenting recommendations to the investment committee. His focus includes hedge funds, private equity funds, and direct investing via co-investments and independent sponsor deals.
After earning his JD from Case Western Reserve University School of Law, Dan built his career across private capital research and aviation-sector management consulting, which included advising private equity and infrastructure investors on transportation assets across the Americas and Middle East. This experience helped form a broad view of markets and asset classes that now shapes how he evaluates opportunities for the family he serves. Dan currently serves on the LP advisory committee for several private equity funds.
Dan lives in Cincinnati with his wife and three sons, and spends his free time on the golf course, the ski slopes, and the sidelines of his kids' games.
