Eric Honroth

Biography

Eric Honroth is the Global President for Getinge, Life Sciences. He oversees the entire Life Sciences business from commercial execution, marketing, R&D, new product development, innovation, and sustainability. He has served as Global President for the last 4 years. Prior to that, Eric was the Global President of North America for Getinge, where his primary responsibilities included sales, service, marketing, and commercial implementation for the company's largest region. He led this team through the very difficult and challenging COVID-related pandemic.

Eric has also held senior commercial leadership positions with Becton Dickinson, Abbott Vascular, and Boston Scientific, focused on sales, marketing, customer feedback, and delivering better healthcare- related outcomes.

Eric’s academic journey began at Miami University, where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing. He was also a proud member of Miami’s Men’s Track and Field and MAC Championship teams. This combination of academics and athletics taught him the importance of discipline, teamwork, resilience, and perseverance.

On a personal note, Eric resides in Atlanta with his wife and five children. He currently serves on several other BODs in both the business and charity sectors.
