Megan Staley
Megan Staley is a CPA from Springfield, OH and currently lives in Columbus. During her freshman year of high school, Megan visited Miami University to cheer on her high school swim team. Inspired by both the vibrant campus and the strong reputation of the Farmer School of Business, Megan knew this was where she wanted to pursue her education. She initially began her studies as a Finance major but soon discovered a stronger aptitude and passion for accounting. With guidance from her father, also an accountant, Megan made the decision to change her focus and went on to earn both a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Accountancy from Miami University.
Megan began her career as an intern with Deloitte in Columbus and remained with the firm for several years. Her experience in public accounting provided a strong foundation, allowing her to develop deep expertise in audit and accounting while also building her communication and time management skills.
She later joined the Limited Brands Internal Audit group, where she continued to build on that foundation. Over the next eight years, Megan advanced her career within the organization, taking on a variety of roles within both Internal Audit and Real Estate Finance, further broadening her technical knowledge and business perspective.
Megan currently works as a Director of Client Service for Acclarity (formerly Kaiser Consulting), an accounting advisory organization that provides accounting, audit, finance and IT services across industries for companies at every stage of growth. Megan serves clients in the retail, manufacturing, energy and real estate investing industries.
