Rick Walker is entering his 4th season as the head coach of the Miami University-Hamilton softball program.

Under Walkers' leadership, the Harriers have enjoyed a steady climb up the ranks, moving from last place in the conference prior to his arrival to two straight years reaching the Ohio Regional Campus Conference Tournament Championship with the Harriers claiming the title in 2019.

Walker holds his squad to their whole title of "student-athletes". Walker even noted that "Our players are student-athletes, and that means academics come first." Through Coach Walkers' encouragement and the team's hard work and dedication scholastically, the Harriers have consistently raised the team GPA each semester from what it was before Walker took over the program.

Walker began his post-undergrad coaching career as head softball coach of the Sayre High School (Lexington, KY) before making stops at North Oldham HS, Bryan Station HS and Lloyd Memorial HS (Erlanger, KY).

Walker graduated from Greenville University with a B.S. in Recreation with an emphasis in Sports Administration where he lettered 2 years with the Panther Men’s Soccer Team and 1 year with the Panther baseball team.

Walker and his wife Lisa, currently reside in Cincinnati.

Coach Campbell is beginning her first year as Assistant Coach with the Miami- Hamilton Harriers softball team. She is a graduate of Miami University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Family Studies and a Master of Education degree in Special Education. Coach Campbell has 5 years of experience as an Assistant Softball Coach at the High School Varsity Level. Campbell's roles included pitching, catching, infield defense, slap- hitting, and managing the club middle school teams. Campbell has previously coached at Middletown High School and Talawanda High School. In addition, Campbell also coached Girl's JV Golf at Middletown High School for one season. Campbell has 10 years of experience as a private pitching instructor. Campbell played Varsity softball for Middletown High School all four years. She played select softball for 8 years, including the top- notch team "The Cruisers". On the "Cruisers", Campbell played for previous Northern Kentucky University coach- Chip Gregg. As a player, Campbell has experience at every position but specialized in pitching, catching and middle infield. Campbell's goals as a coach are to encourage and support student athletes in their academic and athletic endeavors and to be a positive role- model.

Campbell currently works for the county in a social services position. Campbell resides in Trenton, Ohio.
