Upcoming Commencements & Degree Recognition Ceremonies
Miami University degrees are conferred four times per year. The University holds Commencement each Fall in December and each Spring in May to recognize and celebrate its graduates. Undergraduate and Master's degree candidates planning a degree conferral date of December or January are invited to attend the Fall Commencement. Undergraduate and Master's degree candidates planning a degree conferral date of May or August are invited to attend the Spring Commencement. Doctoral degree candidates are hooded each August, December, and May, and are invited to attend the graduation/hooding ceremony that occurs on or after their degree conferral date.
