Biography
Tim Eaton serves as the Arthur Andersen Alumni Professor and EY Teaching Scholar at Miami University. He has been involved in case and curriculum development both in his classes and in the profession. Dr. Eaton was one of three accounting faculty from across the country appointed to the initial year of Ernst & Young's Academic Resource Center, served on the AAA Pathways Commission and been past chair of the AAA Trueblood Committee. He loves teaching and is a two-time winner of Miami University's Farmer School of Business Outstanding Professor Award as well as Miami University's Association of Student Government's Outstanding Professor Award. In addition to teaching and service responsibilities, Dr. Eaton believes in actively contributing to research in the profession. He has published over sixty articles in a wide variety of outlets such as Journal of Business Ethics, Issues in Accounting Education, Accounting Horizons, Journal of Accounting & Public Policy, Advances in Accounting, and Review of Quantitative Finance and Accounting, among others.
