Assistant Clinical Professor of Business Legal Studies at the Farmer School of Business, Miami University, Oxford, Ohio. Prior to coming to Miami in 2019 to teach business law, I was on the faculty at Cincinnati State College teaching both accounting and business law. Prior to teaching, I had 14 years of professional experience in financial services both as a CPA and an attorney. After spending 6 years in Chicago with Ernst & Young auditing broker/dealers, FCMs and investment companies, I went to law school to study the legal aspects of these highly regulated entities. While in Chicago, Ernst & Young financially supported my masters in finance in order to better serve these clients. After law school, I spent 6 years with Frost Brown Todd as outside counsel for clients in the financial services industry as well as general corporate clients. I have a total of 9 years of corporate law practice.
