David Lindequist joined the Department of Economics as an Assistant Professor in 2020 after receiving his Ph.D. in Economics from Washington University in St. Louis. He completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Mannheim in Germany. Dr. Lindequist regularly teaches macroeconomics at both the undergraduate and graduate levels. His research interests lie in macroeconomics and environmental economics and span a wide range of topics, including risk sharing in currency unions, the effects of forward guidance on term premia, global spillovers of U.S. climate policy risk, the impact of the shale gas boom on greenhouse gas emissions, and the welfare effects of protectionist climate policies.
