Presenting the RedHawk50 class of 2025!

The 2025 RedHawk50 class has been announced!

Created by the John W. Altman Institute for Entrepreneurship in the Miami University Farmer School of Business in 2023, RedHawk50 identifies, recognizes, and celebrates the 50 fastest-growing private Miami-owned or Miami-led businesses in the world.

The RedHawk50 not only celebrates their success, but it also provides a forum to recognize and celebrate the Miami University graduates and former students that founded, own, and/or lead those businesses each year and serve as a vehicle for them to pass lessons learned to the next generation of Miami entrepreneurs.

The process for determining the list is:

  • Any private business or 501c3 non-profit owned or led by a Miamian can be nominated. Businesses can be self-nominated or nominated by someone else.
  • Nominated companies are contacted to submit additional high-level financial information to a third-party accounting firm.
  • The information provided is used to evaluate and rank candidates by net returns over a three-year period – in this case, 2022, 2023, and 2024.

This year’s honorees include companies owned or led by alumni from all five Miami University colleges and the regional campuses. Nearly two thirds of this year’s honorees are new to the list.

“RedHawk50 showcases the strength of our alumni ecosystem. Miami graduates are building fast-growing businesses while remaining connected to a network that encourages innovation, collaboration, and long-term success,” Farmer School of Business dean Jenny Darroch said. “The companies recognized through RedHawk50 demonstrate the real-world impact of our alumni’s success. Through their businesses, they are creating jobs, strengthening local economies, and contributing meaningfully to their communities.”
