Domestic Applicants

Application

• U.S. citizens and permanent residents will need to submit an online application, as well as the non-refundable application fee, which must be paid before your application is submitted. If you are a permanent resident, you must also upload a copy of your Resident Alien Card (also known as your Green Card) along with your application.
• If you have applied for a Green Card but have not yet received it, please email ApplyGrad@MiamiOH.edu once you have obtained it.

Baccalaureate or Professional Degree

• You must have earned a cumulative undergraduate GPA of at least 2.75 out of 4.00.
• All graduate applicants must possess at least a U.S. equivalent Baccalaureate degree and submit proof of it along with an academic record or transcript. We accept unofficial transcripts along with your application.
• Once you have been admitted to Miami University, you must submit an official final transcript from your Baccalaureate institution and all courses attended after. Please send your official final transcripts directly to Miami University Graduate Admission, 301 S. Campus Avenue, Oxford, OH, 45056, or via Parchment or National Student Clearinghouse to Grad_Transcripts@MiamiOH.edu.

Supplemental Materials

• Most Miami graduate programs require additional application materials such as a personal statement, writing sample, or test score (e.g., GRE, GMAT). For a listing of supplemental materials, please contact the Academic Program.
• If your program requires the GRE, please send your official GRE score reports to Miami University Graduate School by using ETS Code 1463. If you have a financial need, ETS offers reduced test fees for some students. Contact ETS for additional information.
