Faculty Search Committee Training

Upon receipt of approval of your search committee, search committee members must complete annual training by the OTIE and the Office of Equal Employment and Opportunity (OEEO). Search committee members only need to complete this training once per fiscal year (July-June). 

Faculty search committee training is now available online through Canvas and is accessible 24/7. This self-paced, online training focuses on compliance, bias, and policies, in relation to the search process. All newly approved search committee members will be auto-enrolled in the Canvas course. There is a Formstack form at the end of the training that must be submitted in order to document training completion.  

If you have a group of people in your department who are not a part of an active search committee, but would like to complete the faculty search training, please send a list of employee email addresses to OEEOATS@MiamiOH.edu and we would be happy to enroll any Miami employee in the training.
