Career Services and Professional Development equips students with the skills and tools needed to connect learning to the workforce. Through resume and cover letter support, interview preparation, and access to Handshake — Miami’s platform for internships and jobs — students engage directly with employer partners and real-world opportunities. Work-based learning and Work+ experiences allow students to gain hands-on experience, build professional skills, and connect with employers who help shape projects, internships, and career pathways leading to full-time roles.
