The Center for Bioinformatics and Functional Genomics (CBFG), in Miami University's College of Arts and Science, is a state-of-the-art research and training facility available for all members of the university. The CBFG provides tools for preparing DNA samples for research and for determining the sequence of these DNA samples.

Howe Writing Center and Consultants

The Howe Writing Center provides writing support to all Miami writers on any writing project (expansively defined) and on any step in their process. Our carefully trained undergraduate and graduate consultants offer individualized writing consultations to single writers or writing teams. At the Howe Center for BUsiness Writing, in the Farmer School of Business, consultants can also help students practice presentations and revise slide decks using our installed screen and webcam.

The Humanities Center cuts across disciplinary boundaries to support innovative inquiry as soon as it begins. The Center brings together faculty, students, and the public for study of history, philosophy, the arts, and culture. The Humanities Center offers 16 programs to draw faculty and students into mutually beneficial relationships, help them locate common interests, and translate their work across multiple disciplines and to the public.
