When and how will you be impacted by Miami’s transition to Workday Student? This general timeline can help you know what to expect.

| November – December 2026 | Training offered to department schedulers in preparation for creating the course schedule for the 2027 Fall Semester |
| Department schedulers create the 2027 Fall Semester course schedule in Workday | |
| January – March 2027 | Training offered to students and advisors in preparation for 2027 Fall Semester course registration |
| Training offered to faculty in preparation to view assigned course sections and rosters | |
| April 2027 | Students register for the 2027 Fall Semester in Workday Note: Registration for the 2027 Summer Term will continue in Banner as planned |
| April – May 2027 | Training offered to students and relevant support staff in preparation for the access of financial balances and payment plans |
| June 2027 | Students access financial balances and payment plans through Workday |
| Fall 2027 | Training offered to students, advisors, and relevant support staff in preparation for transcript generation, which will be completed in Workday for all semesters/terms |
| Training offered to instructors in preparation for 2027 Fall Semester course grading, which will take place in Workday Note: Grading for 2027 Summer Term courses will continue in Banner as planned |
