Andy is an award-winning author who focuses his work on progressive literacy methods, including student-centered critical thinking, digital collaboration, and professional development. He is a past-president of the Michigan Reading Association, a two-time past-president of the Michigan Council of Teachers of English, and a teacher consultant for the Chippewa River Writing Project.
