75 Years of Speech and Hearing at Miami University
The Department of Speech Pathology and Audiology is celebrating 75 years of speech and hearing at Miami University and our move to the new state-of-the-art Clinical Health Sciences and Wellness Building on the Oxford campus. An anniversary celebration was held the weekend of September 23-24, 2023. Guests had the opportunity during the event to tour our new facilities and connect with current and former faculty, fellow alumni, current students, and friends.
The anniversary celebration also included a 5k/half-mile walk/run on Sunday, September 24, with the participation of nearly 50 runners supporting the department, clinic, and student travel.

Give to Department of Speech Pathology and Audiology
Please consider providing support to our department. We are always looking for more clinical practicum supervisors for our graduate students and many of our students are interested in completing their summer 10-week externship outside of the region. Our undergraduate students are always eager to hear about opportunities for internships and volunteering in their hometowns.
Financial support directed to our department provides research and conference travel opportunities for our students. We have also been able to purchase new and updated instrumentation with the support of our donors.
