Even if you have never had French prior to Miami, we ask that you take the French placement exam so that we can know where your level of understanding of the French language and culture stands.
When taking the French placement exam, please answer all questions honestly and truthfully. Placing yourself below the level indicated is not allowed without the permission of an advisor during orientation.
PLEASE REMEMBER! If you are taking this placement test within 48 hours of your registration period, please expect that you may not be able to register for the course you intend. Results from this Canvas placement may take up to two (2) business days to process into the university systems, depending on the time of day you've taken the placement.
