AP and Transfer Credit. 67% of the 2016/17 Interior Design students received AP or transfer credit from other institutions as they entered our program.
Second Major and Minor Areas of Study. While few students had second majors (5%), nearly a two-thirds of 2016/17 ID students (62%) had at least one minor field of study, including Art & Architecture History, Entrepreneurship, European Area Studies, Fashion Design, Film Studies, General Business, Gerontology (Aging and Health), Graphic Design, History, management & Leadership, and Urban Design.
Design-Related Internship Experience. 86% of our May 2017 graduating class participated in one or more interior design- and architecture-related internships (summer, winter, or full-semester) while a student in the ID Program. Some of the employing firms include:
