Global Partner Innovation Institute

Program Overview

For global innovators who want to experience and engage with the U.S. entrepreneurial ecosystem surrounding Cincinnati and the Tri-state of Ohio, Indiana and Kentucky.

Connect with a diverse group of like-minded entrepreneurs on the cutting-edge of AI application, advanced manufacturing, biochemical engineering, materials science, quantum computing, and other emerging technologies that are transforming local and global economies.

Eligibility

Interested participants should work with an accredited higher education institution outside the U.S. to participate in this program.

Global partner institutions should be prepared to send 1-5 participants. 

Note that these are non-credit Miami University programs.  Program participants will not be admitted and enrolled students at Miami University.

Goals and Outcomes

• Build a foundation for collaboration or future study/work with U.S. institutions and organizations
• Build relationships and networks with fellow global entrepreneurs
• Develop capacity for intercultural communication and collaboration through engagement with peers from around the world
• Engage the local entrepreneurial ecosystem for your own individual career development as it relates to a certain market, industry, or technology 
• Advance your own personal entrepreneurial project as it relates to capital, talent, product, technology, or other needs. 

10 Day Program in Early October 

Miami Innovation Institute participants will first spend time on the Miami University campus in Oxford, OH, to take part in excursions and experiential learning activities designed to develop interpersonal communication, intercultural understanding, and prepare them to successfully engage with events and opportunities at Startup Cincy Week, the region’s premier annual entrepreneurship summit. 

Participants will then spend four days engaging in a personalized Startup Cincy Week experience that will advance individual entrepreneurial goals and ability to navigate an entrepreneurial ecosystem. 

All program participants will live together in local hotel accommodations. 

Additionally, while on campus, participants will also have access to the Recreation Center, Libraries, Student Center, dining facilities, campus bus and more.
