Global Partner Program: Transformative Technologies and Emerging Careers

Program Overview

For undergraduate students from global partners institutions who want to experience study at a top-ranked U.S. public university while engaging directly with cutting-edge learning tools for quantum computing, AI application, bio-chemical engineering, and other emerging technologies that are transforming future academic paths and career plans.

Eligibility

Currently enrolled undergraduate students at an accredited higher education institution outside the U.S. should work with their home unversity's international office to participate in this program. Note that these are non-credit Miami University programs.  Program participants will not be admitted and enrolled students at Miami University.

Goals and Outcomes

• Build relationships with fellow future international leaders in technology
• Build a foundation for collaboration or future study/work with U.S. institutions and organizations
• Explore pathways for academic and career development as it relates to industry trends and technological breakthrough
• Develop intercultural communication and collaboration through cultural exploration and engagement with peers from around the world
• Advance your understanding of the foundational knowledge that is driving the advance of cutting-egde technologies
• Experience the impact of cutting-edge technologies in practical application 

3-4 Week Summer Program Offerings

Global Partner Program participants will have the opportunity to take part in excursions and experiential learning activities designed to benefit their personal development, interpersonal communication, intercultural understanding, and lifelong learning. 

All program participants will live together in Miami University residence halls rooms that come furnished and supplied with bedding and towels. Residence halls also have kitchens, laundry facilities and recreational areas.

Additionally, participants will also have access to the Recreation Center, Libraries, Student Center, dining facilities, campus bus and more.
