This is the time of the year when you have the opportunity to make changes to your benefit selections for the plan year beginning January 1, 2027. You can review the plans here.
2027 Open Enrollment Guide: Review our 2027 Open Enrollment Guide for information about plan options, rates, and important changes for the 2027 plan year.
If you do not make benefit changes during the 2026 open enrollment period, your current medical, dental and vision benefits will continue in 2027. Voluntary Life, Flexible Spending Account (FSA) and Health Savings Account (HSA) contributions must be elected during open enrollment, the 2026 contributions cannot be automatically rolled over for 2027.
New Vendor: Starting in 2027 Miami Basic Life, AD&D and Voluntary Life insurance will transition to Lincoln. Your basic life insurance coverage will remain the same. However, starting in 2027 the maximum coverage limit for spouses has increased from $30,000 up to $250,000 (or up to 100% of the employee's elected coverage amount, whichever is lower). If you are electing voluntary life insurance for your spouse or child(ren) you must make an active election for yourself. Because of this carrier change, you must go into Workday and select your beneficiaries. This will not automatically carry-over.
