Lisa M. Ellram, Ph.D. The Ohio State University is the Rees Distinguished Professor of Supply Chain Management in the Farmer School of Business. Her primary areas of research interest include sustainability, buyer-supplier relationships, services purchasing and supply chain management, offshoring and outsourcing, and supply chain cost management. She is among the most cited supply chain scholars in the world and was named a Miami University Distinguished Professor in 2019.
Xiaowen Huang, Ph.D. University of Minnesota is the Bill Moeckel Professor of Business in the Farmer School of Business. She researches how companies can effectively deploy supply chain, technology, and operations strategies to achieve competitive advantage. She has multiple teaching, research, and service awards.
Timothy C. Krehbiel, Ph.D. University of Wyoming studies quality improvement methodologies. Recent research projects examine how Agile and Lean can be integrated into an organization’s quality management system.
Peter A. Salzarulo, Ph.D. Indiana University conducts research in healthcare operations and hospital performance. Prior to his academic career, he worked in the pulp and paper industry as a field service engineer.
Yao "Henry" Jin, Ph.D. University of Arkansas researches how companies can more effectively manage retail supply chains at both strategic and operational levels.
Monique Murfield, Ph.D. University of Tennessee is the Director of the Center for Supply Chain Excellence and Richard T. Farmer Endowed Assistant Professor. She researches logistics and supply chain challenges of omnichannel retail, supply chain sustainability, and buyer-supplier relationships. Prior to her academic career, she worked for several years in inbound logistics and global procurement.
John Z. Ni, Ph.D., Indiana University conducts research on quality management, product recalls, and supply chain disruptions. Before coming back to academia, he had extensive industrial experience in quality system certification and supplier assessment.
Matt Schwieterman, Ph.D. Ohio State University has research interests in buyer-supplier relationships and firm growth/diversification. He held various positions in operations management prior to joining academia.
