Seven Farmer School professors have been elevated to a higher rank.

Farmer School dean Jenny Darroch announced the promotion of seven of the school's faculty members, commenting, “I am proud what these faculty members have achieved, both in their teaching and their scholarly research, but most impressed with the way they have combined the two, to the benefit of our students.”
Promoted to associate professor are:
- Kimberly Berg, economics
- Arthur Carvalho, information systems and analytics
- Michelle Frank, accountancy
- John Ni, management
- Jessie Wang, marketing
Promoted to full professor are:
- Tim Holcomb, entrepreneurship
- Peng Wang, management
The promoted faculty’s new status, approved by Miami's Board of Trustees today, takes effect in July.
