Checklist for Success

This checklist is a great tool for you to kick off the academic year at Miami University Regionals. It is designed to help ensure that your stay on top of important tasks like setting up your university email and handling financial aid. By following this checklist, your can feel confident that you're well-prepared, informed, and ready to make the most of your academic experience.

Set up your Miami email on your phone or mobile device. Miami University's primary form of communication with students is via their Miami University email account. Important announcements, emergency communication, changes to your course schedule, etc. will be communicated via your university email. 

Parking at the Regional Campuses is free of charge. However, you must register your vehicle online using the Parking Portal which opens the first week of classes. License plate # and car information required. Physical parking passes are no longer provided.

Review the Guide to Navigate Student and login to set up your Navigate account to sync your course schedule, enabling notifications to track important deadlines and manage your to-do list. Check your class schedule to confirm course details and note that room locations may change. Sync your schedule with your phone calendar through Navigate Student for a unified calendar view, with updates occurring every 24 hours. Additionally, explore Miami Regionals diverse course delivery methods and learn about the course delivery codes.

Sign up for Omnilert, Miami's emergency text-messaging system. This option is for students only; the Omnilert system is not designed for family members.
