Prepare for Tuition Billing

After you are charged initial Miami fees, you will receive a billing notice to your MiamiOH.edu email address that has your payment balance due. You can also view your bill in the Online Payment Portal.

Please note that your bill will NOT be finalized until after you complete your course registration and arrive to campus.

You will be responsible for covering all of your tuition and fees as well as all living expenses. When you submitted Proof of Finances documentation for your I-20 or DS-2019 form, you attested that those funds would be used for your academic program. It is also important to be aware that the University will not be able to offer you any financial aid beyond that which you may have been awarded at the time of your admission.

Using a credit or debit card to pay for tuition will incur additional service fees.

Important to pay tuition and fees only to Miami University. Report suspected outside agents and companies who fraudulently send you a bill for Miami tuition and fees, and instruct you to pay the company directly.

Please review more information about Cost of Attendance and Estimated Expenses for a non-resident who is enrolled full-time. New international students are also charged an additional one-time International Student Services Fee their first semester.

Important Note About Failure to Pay Tuition Fees

If tuition fees are not paid by the due date, then a student's classes will be cancelled and a stop will be put on their access to University resources and services.

If a payment plan installment is missed, then the student may be at risk of having their classes canceled, losing access to auxiliary services, being ineligible to receive their transcript, and being unable to register for additional courses.

Students should work with One Stop for billing and payment issues. Reminder that all international students will have verified their funding and confirmed their ability to pay for the cost of attendance and estimated expenses in order to attend Miami.

If you have trouble paying your bill, please follow these suggestions:

• Check that you are logging in as an Authorized Payer with the correct email for the student and/or parent.
• Try using a different web browser.
• Try using a different internet connection.
• Try using a different computer or electronic device.
• Review that your bill is correct.
• Make sure your payment information is up-to-date.
• If you are trying to pay from an international bank account, it must be completed through Flywire.
