Amy has an impressive track record of grant development experience with over 18 years in the field. Amy has served as the Regional Director of Grant Development at Miami University’s Regional Campuses (2004–2015), as the Senior Foundation Officer for Grant Development for the Bethesda Foundation (2015–2017), and as a Grant Facilitator for Miami’s College of EHS (2017-2022). Amy joined the Discovery Center in the Summer of 2022 as the Coordinator of Research Development. Before coming to Miami, Amy first explored a career in geology. She loves everything STEM-related, particularly exploring the wonders of Nature. In her current position, Amy provides strategic leadership and support for EHS and Discovery Center faculty/staff grant-seeking activities, in order to increase capacity in developing, submitting, receiving, and managing externally funded projects.
